Director Helen Lambell
I have a 38-year background in PR, journalism, and scriptwriting and have run Splash PR since 1994.
I’ve worked with huge global PR agencies McCann and Porter Novelli, edited newspapers and was shortlisted as a BBC comedy scriptwriter. These combined skills of researching, writing, understanding the zeitgeist and having an ear for how people speak mean I’m ideally positioned to tell your story.
Success stories include helping an outdoor services specialist grow from a £5m turnover regional business to an £80m national operation in less than a decade before it was sold to a £700m European organisation. I helped position it to as the go-to supplier for big name housebuilders and numerous local authorities and health trusts across the country.
I work as part of your team and have been with some of my favourite clients for more than ten years – and one for two decades. One of them calls me Helen Pen Wizard (although my wizardry extends beyond mere penmanship!)
Helen is assisted by Delphine the trusty PA. She’s mainly in charge of tea and cakes (although the lack of opposable thumbs makes operating a kettle tricky.) And Dotty the intern whose role involves alerting the rest of the team to the arrival of anyone interesting. The dynamic trio rattle between Bedfordshire, Warwickshire and South West France researching, dreaming up ideas and writing fascinating stories wherever in the world they may be.
